Diego Arredondo is a Peruvian native and has been practicing primarily in litigation and corporate work since 2012. He has focused his practice on insurance defense and commercial litigation, as well as corporate, financial, and intellectual property work. Diego represents clients in both State and Federal Courts in the United States, having additionally successfully resolved cases through mediation and arbitration.

 

Diego has represented large institutional clients as well as smaller business and individuals in litigation, with proceedings ranging from federal litigation involving multi-million dollar disputes to assisting in the organization of startup businesses. Diego has represented large national insurance companies, statewide businesses, and local businesses in matters ranging from injury defense, to business disputes and in facilitating transactions.

 

Diego began his legal career spending a summer at a prestigious law firm in Peru, and from there spent another summer as an extern at the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), where he assisted in the negotiation of settlement agreements with member financial institutions accused of rules violations. Mr. Arredondo then worked at the Kings County District Attorney’s office in Brooklyn, New York, assisting with the investigation and prosecution of defendants.   Diego has since focused his practice on litigation in the areas of defense, commercial disputes, intellectual property, and corporation formation and transactions. Diego spends time assisting clients in the arts, often times on a pro bono basis. Diego is a member of the Foundry of Cannonball, a non-profit organization formerly known as LegalArt, and is otherwise a member of the Dade County Bar Association.
