John Paul Rodríguez

BIO 

John Paul Rodríguez is an Associate Attorney at Sioli Alexander Pino, where he focuses his practice on insurance defense. He represents employers and insurance carriers in claims arising under the Defense Base Act and the Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act. 


Rodríguez earned his Bachelor of Arts in History, with a minor in Political Science, from Loyola University Chicago. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University College of Law, where he served as a Human Rights Research Fellow for Professor Roza Pati, was an active member of the Maritime Law Society, and was awarded the CALI Book Award for International Law. 


Before joining Sioli Alexander Pino, Rodríguez worked at a South Florida law firm, handling cases involving admiralty, personal injury, torts, and contract law. He now leverages this diverse legal background to effectively advocate for the firm’s clients in complex insurance defense matters. 


Rodríguez currently resides in Miami, Florida, where he enjoys playing soccer, kayaking, and chess outside of work.
