Emily Palacio

BIO Emily Palacio is a Senior Associate Attorney with Sioli Alexander Pino and focuses on Insurance Defense, General Liability, and Federal Worker's Compensation.

​

During her second and third years of law school, Palacio was a legal intern for the Department of Homeland Security at U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. While at USCIS, Palacio drafted decisions on immigration benefits and researched issues pertaining to the immigration consequences of different crimes.

​

For extracurricular participation, Palacio was a member of the Moot Court Board of Appellate Advocacy, where she competed and coached fellow teammates for various competitions. She also participated in the Law Student for a Day program through the Black Law Student Association, where she taught middle and high school students civics and law lessons.

​

Prior to joining the firm, Palacio worked as an associate attorney at an immigration law firm where she focused on representing clients at hearings before the Immigration Court and at various appointments at different government agencies.
