Deborah Caputo

BIO

Deborah Caputo is an Associate Attorney at Sioli Alexander Pino handling Defense Base Act claims within the firm’s practice. 

  

Caputo earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University. She then attended Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law to earn her Juris Doctor degree. During her legal education, she excelled in leadership by serving as the Vice President of the Student Bar Association, President of the Animal Legal Defense Fund, Vice President of the Family Law Society, Vice President of the Human Rights Organization, and the Law School Affiliate representing Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law for the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division for two consecutive years. She also worked as a law clerk for several law firms to gain experience in case strategy and legal research. 

 

Upon graduating from law school, Caputo worked as an associate attorney in South Florida, where she managed a diverse caseload in state court. She conducted settlement negotiations, attended evidentiary hearings, coordinated discovery efforts, and analyzed complex legal documents. Before joining Sioli Alexander Pino, she also worked as a DBA associate attorney where she handled caseloads in federal court and implemented legal strategies to resolve issues in the client’s best interest. 

 

Caputo lives in Deerfield Beach, and in her free time, she enjoys reading and spending time with family and friends.
