Joanna N. Pino

BIO

Joanna Pino is a founding member of Sioli Alexander Pino and serves as the firm’s Chief Operating Officer, responsible for the day-to-day management and supervision of the firm. From a legal perspective, Pino manages all aspects of litigation defense with a focus on General Liability and Federal Workers’ Compensation matters.

Pino also represents the insurer’s interest in coverage and bad faith matters. She efficiently develops and implements innovative legal and business strategies specifically tailored to fit each and every client’s particular needs on a case-by-case basis. Throughout her career, Pino has been successful in obtaining numerous favorable verdicts for her clients on multimillion-dollar exposure cases.

Pino is licensed to practice law in the State of Florida, the District of Columbia, the State of Texas, and the State of New York.

Outside of the courtroom, Pino is involved in various leadership roles to promote diversity and women's advocacy. She is a founding member and holds a committee seat in the Florida Chapter of the Association of Professional Insurance Women. Additionally, she serves as a board member on the Academir Charter Schools Board of Directors. She is also a member of the Cuban American Bar Association.

Pino graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Florida, Warrington College of Business Administration. She received her Juris Doctor degree cum laude from St. Thomas University School of Law, ranking in the Top 5% of her class. Pino has been recognized by Super Lawyers as a Florida Rising Star 12 years in a row. She provides bilingual legal services in both English and Spanish.
